ANNA ROBERTS
I am twenty years old and I am currently on my last semester of college at Victor Valley Community College. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2015 with my Associates degree in Social and Behavioral Science. I would have never been able to receive my Associates degree in such a short time if it wasn't for the amazing blessing by the Josephine G. Cook Foundation.  As a young woman just out of high school I had my whole life ahead of me and I had a plan to get a job and go to college. However, getting a job is a lot easier said than done and when it came time to register for fall classes at my local community college I had no idea how I was going to pay for the classes I needed. Luckily, I received the Josephine G. Cook scholarship that made it possible for me to reach my goals. Without the scholarship I would have had no way of paying for my first semester of college. This scholarship gave me the opportunity to further my education beyond a High School Diploma and because of that I am forever grateful. _________________________________________________________________________

I was honored to receive a scholarship from the JGC foundation. The scholarship boosts my confidence by knowing that my hard work and academic endeavors are being recognized. It gives me motivation to do well in the future. I am grateful to the JGC foundation and appreciate their financial support to help me further my education plan. By receiving this scholarship, I am one step higher in achieving my future goal and dream of becoming a corporate lawyer.

COURTNEY CRITZ
I am honored to be one of the recipients of the Josephine G. Cook Scholarships. Thanks to their generous support I was able to start putting money away for college very early on.
With the plan and dream of attaining Chapman University, the two scholarships I have received will help me get one step closer to accomplishing my educational goal. Chapman University offers one of the finest programs in the country and I consider myself fortunate to have been able to start out with some scholarships. Working as a volunteer in my community throughout my high school career, I enjoyed helping people. Having founded the Toy Clean Up Project when I was only ten, because I wanted to help children that were just like me, and I am so thankful that the Josephine G. Cook Foundation saw my vision. I know my community service will always be a big part of my life. Again, thanks to the Josephine G. Cook Scholarship Foundation for helping me with my educational pursuits it would not be possible without generous support from your organization. Thank you for enabling this opportunity!

As a board member of the Josephine G. Cook Foundation, I would like to take this opportunity to share why I have chosen to donate to this wonderful organization. Eight years ago, I started my own foundation called the Toy Clean Up Project, with the idea of being able to help one child in need. As of today, I have been able to make a difference in many lives. I could not have done this on my own, by joining the Josephine G. Cook Foundation the donations and gifts I have given have helped so many individuals. The Josephine G. Cook Foundation helps men and women achieve their maximum potential through continued education. They also encourage the involvement in charitable organizations. I am proud that to date the Toy Clean Up Project has donated over $3500 in funds and gifts. We will continue to work along with the Josephine G. Cook Foundation in making a difference in the lives of others.

JESSICA L. CASSIDY
The Brent G. Cassidy Family Foundation was established in memory of my late father-in-law to continuing on his legacy through the foundations philanthropic efforts. Over the years the foundation has donated funds to benefit the mission of many causes but one in particular foundation is exemplary amongst the rest, the Josephine G. Cook Scholarship Foundation.

When I met Eddie Peterson and heard the story behind why the Josephine G. Cook Scholarship Foundation was formed I knew that the Brent G. Cassidy Family Foundation would be donors for many years to come.

Growing up in a less fortunate situation faced with many challenges I could have only wished that there was a foundation like Eddie’s that inspired young women to continue their education and in return offer scholarships to help defray the cost of higher education.

The Josephine G. Cook Scholarship Foundation has inspired so many young women across the globe through its message and support. The Brent G. Cassidy Family Foundation is proud to support the effort of Eddie’s foundation and looks forward to witnessing the amazing work it remains to accomplish.
